Our black diamond plate sheets are .025" embossed aluminum made from 3104 aluminum, finished in Gloss Black. Embossed means the diamond pattern is pressed into the sheet, so you get the look of diamond plate without the weight of tread plate.

An electric metal shear is the best tool for long cuts. Tin snips work fine for short cuts and notches. A grinder with a metal cutting wheel also works. Every sheet ships with a light-tack PVC film on the face, so leave it on while you cut and install to protect the finish.
