What Is Embossed Diamond Plate?

The .025" sheet is manufactured using an embossing process that stamps the diamond tread pattern directly into the aluminum sheet. This produces a lightweight, flexible sheet with the full visual impact of diamond plate — clean diamond pattern on the face, smooth beveled transitions between knobs, and a bright anodized finish that holds up under normal interior conditions. At 11.3 lbs per 4'x8' sheet it is significantly lighter than heavy duty raised-knob material, making it easier to handle, cut, and install on walls, wainscoting runs, and trailer interiors without additional structural support.

Wholesale Colors — Four Anodized Finishes

All four finishes are anodized directly into the aluminum surface — not painted or powder coated. Anodized finishes will not chip, peel, or fade under normal interior installation conditions. Polished, Gloss Black, and Dark Metallic Gray each correspond directly to matching wholesale aluminum trim profiles in our catalog. Race Red is available in both 2'x8' and 4'x8' sizes and pairs beautifully with Polished trim for a high-contrast finished edge — contact us for trim recommendations specific to your Race Red installation.

Colors and sizes can be mixed across a single wholesale order. However, the 20-piece minimum applies per individual variant — each specific size and color combination must be ordered in quantities of 20 or more. For example, 20 Polished 4'x8' sheets plus 20 Race Red 4'x8' sheets is a valid order. 10 Polished and 10 Race Red does not meet the per-variant minimum.

Cutting and Fabrication

The .025" embossed sheet is the easiest gauge of diamond plate to cut and work with on site. No grinder or metal cutting wheel required.

• On-site cutting: Use the OnlineDiamondPlate.com swivel-head electric hand shear for fast, clean cuts with no blade changes. Standard tin snips also work for shorter cuts.

• Custom cuts (pre-ship): Available at an additional charge using our industrial 10-foot shear. Straight 90-degree cuts only — no notched cuts, angled cuts, radius cuts, or cutouts. Maximum sheet length 8 feet. Custom cut sheets are non-returnable. Contact us before ordering if you have questions about whether your cut can be accommodated.

Pallet Configuration

• Pallet dimensions: 100"L x 50"W x 14"+ height

• Maximum sheets per pallet: 100 sheets to prevent damage during transit

• Mixed colors per pallet: Yes — all four colors and both sizes can ship together on a single pallet

Shipping — Important: Read Before Ordering

All wholesale embossed sheet orders ship flat on custom pallets via LTL ground freight common carrier. We route each shipment through the most cost-effective carrier at time of order — typically Old Dominion, FedEx Freight, TForce Freight, or ABF Freight. Pallet dimensions (100"L x 50"W) exceed the length limit for liftgate service on all carriers.

No liftgate delivery is available on any wholesale pallet shipment.

• Loading dock required: Delivery address must have a loading dock, OR

• Forklift on site: A forklift must be available to unload from the freight truck

• No dock or forklift? Select carrier terminal pickup at checkout — we will route your order to the nearest freight terminal for pickup at your convenience
