FAQ’s

Contact Cement:  Paint the contact cement onto the wall as well as the back of the sheets and allow time to development “tack”  Start from one end and slowly move you hands from the top and bottom sliding to the other end of the sheet( much like a sticker)  This can be combined with screw fasteners in each corner and middle of the sheets for added application pressure.

Self tapping screws:  Ideally the screws are anchoring into wood or concrete (drywall only has the potential of releasing over time unless combined with a glue adhesive as well) Lean the sheet into place ands start at the bottom of one end.  Place one screw, then go roughly the middle of the sheet at the bottom and place another screw.  Take care to flatten sheet prior to placing the second screw.  Then go back to the top of the end you started with and place a screw.  Repeat across the sheet as needed

Vinyl Floor Tape:  This is a roll of double stick tape.  Apply to the back of the sheet along the top, bottom and middle.  Include some vertical tape at ends and the middle.  Place near the wall and remove the tape paper.  Start at one end and use smooth pressure much like a large sticker.  Screw fasteners can also be added for extra security.

Liquid nail glue or similar:  This technique is much like the contact cement.  Apply to wall OR sheet, then start from one end and smoothly apply pressure down the sheet to stick to the wall.

Check out our YouTube videos: CLICK HERE.  We recommend installing diamond plate wall panels over an existing substrate such as drywall, plywood or concrete for added rigidity and strength.  Depending on the substrate beneath there are at least four different ways to install your diamond plate wall panels: Self-tapping screws, contact cement, double sided vinyl floor tape  or adhesives like Liquid Nails.  MAKE sure to plan ahead for any trim moldings in the corners, seams between sheets, or top moldings.

Yes.  Some products are ONLY available  in our “Wholesale” section.  This includes our 8 foot lengths of diamond plate moldings and diamond plate corner guards along with thicker .045” and .125”, 4’ x 8’ sheets of aluminum diamond plate

Wholesale orders typically take 1-2 weeks to ship, but can take up to 4 weeks depending on inventory and schedule at time of order.

All wholesale aluminum tread sheet products will be shipped flat on pallets and customers may require a dock and forklift with extended forks for receipt.

All wholesale products include FREE Ground shipping within the continental United States and require purchase of at least 20 pieces.
