Installation

Wholesale corner guards install using the same methods as our retail corner guards and aluminum trim molding profiles:

• Finish nails — driven through the wing face into the wall. Fast and clean for wood stud framing.
• Screws — driven through the wing face into studs, drywall, or masonry. Use our Diamond Plate Screws for installations into drywall or metal studs where stud alignment is not guaranteed.
• Construction adhesive — apply 3M 550 Construction Adhesive to the back of the wings and press firmly to the wall surface. Ideal for concrete, masonry, and any substrate where drilling or nailing is not practical.

Cutting to Length On Site

Both 4' and 8' lengths can be cut down to a custom dimension on site. The recommended tool is a miter saw with a metal cutting blade. Secure the corner guard firmly before cutting and use appropriate eye and hearing protection. The .045" aluminum cuts cleanly with the right blade.
